Cultural Bridge-Building

FROM FIRST NATIONS TO THE NATIONS

Contrary to some educational propaganda, Native cultures are alive and thriving. The RiverWinds enjoy sharing their cultures, traditions and ways with people of other nations and ethnicities to increase understanding, peace and promote global wellbeing.

"We don't want power, we don't want to be congressmen, or bankers....we want to be ourselves. We want to have our heritage, because we are the owners of this land and because we belong here." ~  From the 1927 Grand Council of American Indians

POLITICAL, SOCIAL & ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISTS

The RiverWinds desire to truly make a positive change in the world today. To that end, they are actively involved in government liaison, social improvements and increased environmental responsibility. They advocate for Indigenous Rights and bring awareness to the epidemics of suicide and missing/murdered First Nations women.

They are also approved speakers for ACT for America, the largest grassroots organization for counter-terrorism and upholding our constitutional rights, values and freedom in the United States.

"Force, no matter how concealed, begets resistance." ~ Lakota proverb

A HEART FOR ISRAEL

Close to their hearts and never far from their minds is the nation of Israel. Inspired by the story of the restoration of ancestral indigenous homelands to the Jewish people, the RiverWinds hold the hope that, to some small degree, a similar story may one day belong to the First Nations people of the Americas.
